Great to see recognition of Taiwan’s COVID response from U.S house representative @RoKhanna who represents Silicon Valley. #Taiwan is a major #tech partner to many Silicon Valley companies and #healthcare is another growing area of exchange.
There are now more recorded cases of COVID-19 in the White House than in New Zealand, Taiwan, and Vietnam combined, and they have 124 million people. Let that sink in.

These 2 findings can go hand in hand. A new 🇹🇼 identity has been emerging since the beginning of democratization and is consolidated among the youth. At the same time, they are the most eager to question the status quo and anachronistic ROC institutions such as the armed forces.

#Partisanship has long poisoned various pivotal issues in Taiwanese #politics, and the 🇹🇼-🇺🇸 rltnshp hasn't been immune to this dynamic. I hope this cooperative spirit isn't a mere exception. Looking at you, @kuomintang!
We at @NextGenTaiwan welcome this important resolution proposed by @kuomintang that goes beyond the party divides and sends an important message to the 🌏 international community about political unity over matters of #NationalSecurity 🤝 cna.com.tw/news/aipl/2020100… [🧵1/5]

🇹🇼 It’s great to see Taiwan’s #industry perform extremely well in the time of #COVID9 based on the sentiment index calculated by #TIER. An increase of more than 15% from March 2020 highlights the importance of #HealthPolicy in shaping the #BusinessClimate. Good job #Taiwan!

#ThankGodItsMonday? The case of #PaternityLeave in 🇯🇵 illustrates that #grind and #hustle culture does not help anybody - how come a country with one of 🌏's most generous #ParentalLeave policies only sees 7.5% of dads take time of for their 👶? bit.ly/33wUyg5

Thank you U.S @SenateForeign for encouraging the @USTradeRep to prioritize a free trade agreement with #Taiwan which would be a huge win-win for fellow democracies with shared values.
Taiwan is an important partner of the U.S., and a model democracy in the Indo-Pacific. Today, I joined many Senate colleagues in encouraging @USTradeRep to prioritize a comprehensive trade agreement with #Taiwan. More here: foreign.senate.gov/press/cha…

My thoughts are with the people of the United States as their President & First Lady have just tested positive for COVID-19. The Taiwanese people will continue to be a reliable partner for other democratic countries as they work to overcome this pandemic. edition.cnn.com/2020/10/01/p…
