We welcome President Whipps and believe that this visit not only testifies to the strength of the #Palau-Taiwan relationship, but also carries our hopes for a slow expansion of travel opportunities for people to and from #Taiwan.

I agree with our panelist @LiamFLiamFLiamF - education in Taiwan NEEDS to become less product-oriented and more process-oriented. Transition to #multingualism doesn't require only hard skills; soft skills (such as intercultural empathy) are key, and art can help cultivate them.
I thank my @NextGenTaiwan team for their tireless efforts to make this event a success. @maxime_ramon, @LiamFLiamFLiamF, Shih Hsin-Yuan of #兩廳院, John Brownlie of Taipei Shorts & Roma Mehta of Red Room all provided valuable insights into the 2030 #Bilingual Country Plan.
Arts & language are both 🔑 pillars of identity. In 4th decade of #democratization, we're still consolidating our 🇹🇼 identity. Our Global Taipei Dialogue 8 allowed us to interrogate natl #development policy, but also exposed a pressing question of what is means to be Taiwanese.

The 2030 Bilingual Country Plan requires cultivation of not only hard skills but also soft skills. Art is a key tool for that!
Taiwan needs to play an active role in safeguarding the regional #HumanRights protection regime in East Asia. Another important pillar for scaling up the #TaiwanCanHelp mindset.@NextGenTaiwan
🌄藍天白雲: celebrating the beginning of the weekend -and gorgeous weather!-with my lovely daughters.
Our daily grind tries to silence biophilia, our instinctive draw to nature. Work-life balance matters. If you can, take things slow today, and enjoy the little things #outdoors.
