A good reminder that KMT history involves *a lot* of fudging. Taiwan wasn't returned in 1945 to the PRC, a state that didn't exist then. But it wasn't "returned" to the ROC either since the ROC had never governed it before that...
75 years ago, the islands of #Taiwan and the #Pescadores were returned to the Republic of #China, NOT the so called People's Republic of "China."
To this day, the #ROC still stands proudly in East Asia. The #ROC has NEVER belonged to, and WILL NEVER belong to, the #CCP regime!
