Chinese "diplomats" physically assaulted a #Taiwanese official during the #TaiwanNationalDay celebrations in #Fiji. The Beijing reps were reportedly "beating him up so badly" that he is now receiving hospital treatment in #Suva.

I offer sympathy to the family and anyone affected by this horrendous act. I am appalled and disgusted by the assault. To our diplomats in #Fiji: we are with you in this difficult time. You have my full support.
