Isn't the EU-China strategy challenged by the fact that MS don't always follow it the way they should? Thinking of cases like Budapest 🇭🇺 where authorities virtually seek to use deals with Beijing as leverage against Brussels 🇧🇪?

*every single* member state pursues their national interests. but we now see more coordination, and a shift to protect the EU from CCP efforts to exploit divisions and further undermine it as a whole.
