Hey remember when the Times and a bunch of other papers claimed that density was to blame for the high rates of COVID cases in New York City? I still think about that from time to time now that suburban and even rural areas are being overwhelmed

Everyone in LA was like ‘yeah must be the density, the sprawl protects us.’ Shocking that it did not!

"Must be New York City's fault for being poor, crowded and public-transit-reliant," was such a copout for so many failures of leadership and management! And as time goes on that only proves more and more true in other parts of the country.
