Countering disinformation is part of the work RFA engages in and the importance of the United States' support in this regard cannot be overstated. Thank you, and congratulations, Mr. Yates! 2/2
Huge congrats to Mr. Yates on his new position as President of Radio Free Asia. I can’t think of a more qualified person for this job and would also like to thank him and RFA for their essential work in Asia. 1/2
#Taiwan now prioritizes development in the #EnergySector. Industrial innovation and cooperation in areas such as #GreenEnergy also constitute one of the flagship programs of the #NewSouthboundPolicy - and India is the biggest partner of #Taiwan under among the NSP18.

Continuing on the theme of my visit to #India - my visit to Vadodara allowed me to understand the plentiful #business opportunities that exist b/w #India & #Taiwan. For example, Vadodara is the hub of the #PowerSector equipment manufacturing and #engineering#industry.

It‘s great to be reminded our friends in India are taking the development of relations as a high priority! I am very grateful for the opportunity to make Taiwan's voice among Indian audiences - our largest partner under the #NewSouthboundPolicy [2/2]

I strongly believe that in the post-#COVID era, #tourism between our two countries will flourish. People-to-people exchanges yield better understanding of other cultures but also shared heritage and value - the necessary bedrock for other, higher-level exchanges and partnerships.
Taiwan opened @TourTaiwanTTB in #Mumbai in 2018 - an important first step. Neverthless, the promotion of @incredibleindia brand in Taiwan is still handled by the office in Tokyo. It is imperative to localize promotion efforts and embrace the nuance of our respective markets.
🇹🇼🤝🇮🇳How can we strengthen #IndiaTaiwan ties? I believe that #tourism should constitute a strong pillar of our collaboration. When I visited #IncredibleIndia, it was mainly for #business reasons, but as I was able to extend my #workation, I fell in love with beautiful #Gujarat.
