Just got an email letting me know of another electricity price increase by @UtilitaEnergy. How are those on benefits and unable to work supposed to find an estimated extra 拢35 a month. 馃槯

Good morning. Ofgem has announced price increases to the energy cap from April this year, so sadly, this does affect the tariff rates. In the meantime please look at ways to reduce your energy use as this will help you to offset any increase. Thank you, Tori.

A canned statement that actually has bearing on reality. At what point can you not make any more reductions. Is it before or after you have stopped turning on heating, stopped using lighting, only bathe in cold water or when you do not use your cooker and cut out hot meals? 1/2

Maybe it is time the @10DowningStreet took a base look at benefits and what it does cost to live. Maybe the @CitizensAdvice could help. 2/2
