Once again exposed for my abject opposition to genocide, apartheid, and Islamophobia.
Students for Justice in Palestine is a hate group. It was founded by a man — @HatemBazian — who is nicknamed “Hate ‘em Bazian.” In 2005, I was a visiting scholar at the Center for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis and led a woman-led prayer of women and men on campus. In my book #WokeArmy, I write about how an Islamist and Muslim convert @JosephLumbard called me a “presstitute” and “Islamophobe” in 2013 when I wrote about the Islamic extremism of the Boston Marathon brothers.
Then, in 2014, I write, Lumbard and a Muslim Brotherhood legacy group, Muslim Students Association, led a campaign to rescind @Ayaan Hirsi Ali of an honorary degree. In an act of cowardice, Brandeis caved to the hate against Ayaan.
Lumbard is now teaching — guess where — Doha, Qatar, at the College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. And he’s even more blatant about his anti-Israel hate. He makes jokes about Hamas and trolls Ayaan Hirsi Ali. He lashes out regularly against Israel and I just lament: for years, he had a beachhead at a Jewish university, Brandeis. There the “Hate ‘em” movement took root, like it did on campuses nationwide.
Good for Brandeis for finally refusing their lies and hate.
