'They come like a flood into the hospital.' A British surgeon who was trapped in Gaza has made it back to the UK. Dr Abdel Hammad, a surgeon at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital had travelled to Gaza to train doctors at the Al Shifa hospital. He arrived in Gaza on 6th October, just a day before the Hamas attacks & the large-scale Israeli ground and air offensive in Gaza.
