Just unboxed my new WiFi scale and enjoying this premium iot experience

i don't know what's worse - that the scale needed three updates out of the box, or waited until after all of those to ask for the wifi password. is it so hard to just...do the update later ffs

for those asking why I do this to myself: you don't know how much I like pain

you won't feel like you're in the future until you've pooped with your wifi lights in disco mode

p.s - a minor IoT delight for once: IKEA's cheap smart bulbs actually work natively with Philips Hue! A pleasant surprise.
