i used a new car share app to rent a car and took it to the country and now it won't turn on bc it doesn't have service and i am stranded

I used to make a J2ME app that used GPRS. 9600 baud easily enough for sending keys....but coders needlessly bloat the communications.

:/ I remember it 9600 - though looking at wikipedia, this would have been CSD. 9600= 2000 decimal digits/sec. plenty.

Because GPRS/1xRTT won't exist much longer (it's already gone if you're on AT&T or an MVNO thereof.)
