Pecause of competition, prices go down when margins would go up. "Sponsored Kindle" effect.
Because someone will use the increased margins to price compete. And when you sell data, the biggest cohort wins! (See Facebook)
If all of the manufacturers stay the course, yes. But there will be one that defects.
What we must do is convince the companies they can charge $200 extra to unbundle the smarts/spying!
