Sorta, same body design! Goes to show they're going for margins wherever they can by using off the shelf stuff. I have a hunch it's the lack of space for a better module

i really dont mind the same body design. makes it easier to reuse old accessories, if they changed it every iteration people would claim theyre juicing accessory sales. i actually appreciate they changed the entire computer architecture + keyboard while keeping the same shape lol

oh i see what you're saying. i think they couldve improved the module when they moved the air to the 2018 design, it really seems like almost the same camera as the pre-2018 airs

Ya but that's what I mean, they're literally buying the best webcam module/sensor on the market that can fit in the available space constraints. There are vastly better cameras but you have to make the machine thicker to fit the sensor
