The article never says that it's bad. Have you read it? The "kind of scary" is follow by "because we are not used to it". The article doesn't report any problems that have occurred only explained that the car is driving 25-35 mph in area with traffic with a driver in it.

this Tesla SUV ran into a traffic barrier at 70mph while on Autopilot. how could this happen? there are 3 major contributing causes, and they're *fascinating*
