And helmets. In NY only children under 13 are required to helmets. If you are ANY age riding a bicycle without a helmet you are an idiot. There I said it.

It's going to be a multi-prong approach to safety. No different than not wearing headphones to hear sounds, or putting on reflectors/lights for visibility. Bike lanes are another safety add. Common sense people. Falling will happen so protect your clonked head.
