They tried to build protected bike lanes in Salt Lake City by putting the bike lane between the street parking and the side walk. It's great, except when cars are parked. Then it just makes ever turn across the bike lane completely blind...

You think self driving cars are safe for cyclists? No, they are a huge problem in Amsterdam. The only safe solution for cyclist and pedestrians is to completely remove cars from cities. And if not, self driving should be disabled in city center’s.

I agree. We've wasted 20 years chasing autonomous electric cars instead of building mass transit-->which would reduce cars on the road-->which would create space for bike lanes.
