WTF? If I paid 2 grand on a TV the only ads I'd accept (or not, because I don't watch classic TV anyway) are those which are part of the regular TV program...

I have a Samsung Gear watch. It's pretty, and it counts my steps and measures my heart rate. But the companion Samsung Health app shows ads, often for questionable dietary supplements. I deleted the app.

Every tv manufacturers stops updating their TV OS after two years... you smartphone life cycle can be 6-7 years...
