Get a Raspberry pi and set up #pihole on it, you can then block the adds that show up!

Mine used to be stopped by a pihole, however I could not use Disney+ on the TV consistently without it keep signing me out. I do need to reenable it at some point and diagnose properly.

According to the rest of the article you should just avoid buying TVs at all at this point as it seems all of them feature unremovable ads now.
