For now I got around these by disabling "I consent to Internet-Based Advertisements" under Terms & Privacy. And as failover I run a Pi-hole to catch any extras

I have a samsung and if can’t connect to mothership then no smart features work. No local NAS acces or youtube or anything. No ads tough. But my Philips has ads in main menu.
