Uploading for my own insurance to get half the premium off? I can live with that, in fact i live right now with that. But uploaded by my car manufacturer for god knows who else to see? No, no, thanks, nope.

I know that the movement is US-centric, but go look at @YourCarYourData and their petition. This is one of the things they work against.
