it is absolutely bananas to me that anyone would put a facebook product with a camera in it in their home

FB Portal is a killer product which doesn’t get the attention it deserves. With Zoom integration, it’s going to be *so much* better than having a webcam.

A friend of mine worked on the hardware, exceptional engineer. It’s hard to want a friend’s greatest work to fail. Still do though.

Hey look I'll be honest: the hardware is insanely great and beautifully designed. It's just....the company can't be trusted at all.
