Will I get small lootbox for driving my BMW every day???

My Mercedes has live map updates for the GPS included for the first 3 yrs only. The internet connectivity is bound to one provider (cannot replace a SIM card) and costs as little 17€/mo (1 GB data included). All internet services are available only with the integrated SIM.

They'll say it's so budget conscious consumers can save money. (Like not buying a BMW?) The obvious problem is what used to be optional hardware is now required, and the underlying cost is the same. Some people will not use it. Those people will be subsidized by those who do.

Took me a while to get the revenue model behind it, but I do hope they allow their customer to pay full price beforehand or after the purchase, instead of only the subscription option.
A Scenicben nem tudok órát állítani, amíg nem veszem meg bele a gyári Tom-Tom térképet 28ezerért. Egyszerűen nem létezik az óraállítás menüje. 2011-es autó.
