There are always ways to abuse technology. Imagine the case where this was a rental, and the landlord or management company had a time stamped log of every time you enter or exit your apartment. Personal data can always be misused in ways that get brushed off as unlikely/absurd.

How does the RFID being implanted in the hand expose the user to more risk than if they just used a key-fob in their wallet or a phone app?

Usually your posts are funny and often right and I love reading them but not in this case. The most dangerous thing about this is the fact that there could be pain or an infection caused by the implant.
