I’m over a month into my RMA process with them. Still don’t have a replacement.

I have two that actually work great. I suck at cooking things on the grill and it works well for that

Is there a term for people who buy smart tech despite the existing 'dumb' tech being perfectly good?

I own MEATER and the draw is the probes are wireless. Sounds great. But it’s ass. I’ve gone back to using my Thermoworks Smoke dumb thermometer. Why did I think this would be any different than other internet connected devices? I ordered your stickers. I should know better.

@reckless Your new meat thermometer needs a update, before it works? then each month a subscription?...then, they brick it?

And it's called "Meater". So many things wrong here.

This is way too invasive and leans into privacy issues for me. I'll stick to my old-fashioned way of cooking. The meats have never been undercooked nor has anybody ever become sick.
