Looking at my hard drive spreadsheet, drives made in Taiwan seem to have a lower early fail rate than ones made in China.
I have a hard drive reporting "User Capacity: 600,332,565,813,390,450 bytes [600 PB]". It might need replacing.

@lenovo_uk Ordered a laptop from you on new years day. The SSD inside of it was dead on arival. Been trying to get a replacement. No luck.
