Just heard someone call a SSD "a solid state disk drive". Oh Mac users, do you not understand the irony in this.
@DemonBroadband are having massive problems with their network at the moment. Hope they hurry up and get them sorted.
Installed Gentoo with the 3.0-rc1 kernel, yeah no, nothing new. Tbh it might as well be 2.6.40. But hopefully it mark the start of changes.

Last night I had a frustrating conversation in which my parents genuinely thought I didn't understand how books work.

My wireless cards driver was staging in the 2.6.32 kernel but then was removed and has only reappeared in the 2.6.38 kernel... Why!?
After a day of configuring, comping and installing I finally have a working box. Still not close to getting to using my SSD though. #gentoo
Decided that my home server will now run Gentoo. Time to start the day long install and Config process.
Got my SSD time to take it for a spin... Or not in this case :P #BadJokes

@Kitkatmatt (via @Symonator): I think 1000 = 1024 x (1 - 0.75^n) Then rearrange to get 0.75^n on it's own and use logs.
