Big milestone! Open Distro has done well, hopefully this does just as well. What about the other parts of the stack like Logstash?

At the moment there is still an ALv2 version of Logstash available that will be compatible with OpenSearch. If that changes we will certainly revisit it :)

IMHO there are better logshippers around than logstash. Have a look at vector.dev or fluentbit.
