Bit harsh, it's not always a users fault, for example I know of an institution that didn't support TLS1.2 on their radius servers and thus devices with TLS1.0/1.1 disabled couldn't connect
Just because a story is online, doesn’t mean it’s true. The internet is great, but it can be used to spread misleading news and content.
Make sure you know what you’re sharing. Don’t feed the beast. Use the S.H.A.R.E checklist.
#CYBERUK19 was my first CyberUK and it was amazing! Met some great people across public and private sectors :) Looking forward to next year's which I'll definitely be attending
How do you deal with developers that can't grasp the concept of, 'if you change the password of the user connecting to the DB, you can no longer use the old password, you must use the new one'
From my understanding this is just a set of plugins to sit on top of @elastic provided elasticsearch, could that change and we end up with 2 similar products ala owncloud & nextcloud. Also any plans for releasing debs or accepting contributions to enable that?
Open Distro for Elasticsearch looks pretty exciting. Field level security for free? Yes please. Wonder if this can be built into debs... opendistro.github.io/for-ela…#Elasticsearch
Honestly if PlayStation Now had more games and did what Xbox game pass does with exclusives I'd happily pay £10/month but currently it's not worth it due to the current library. BUT I'm playing Heavy Rain during my luch at work so 🤔
Got @VulnWhisperer feeding vulnerability scan results into the ELK now, really great way to get overviews of what the state of our infrastructure & systems are
Swallowing over 2500 log entries per second into #elk with logstash doing geoip and reverse dns lookups, also a few scripted fields. A few more services to be added still but looking great so far :)
The grok/regex patterns for exim logs has already paid off, spotted a big institutions mail servers not doing SSL/TLS right! Can't wait to have this actually in production #ELK
