@_CalumAdams that sounds about right. The thermal paste can take awhile to break in.
@_CalumAdams hmmm. Check the temps under a stress test and get back to me. What model is your motherboard btw?
@_CalumAdams doesn't sound right, did it come with any of it's own mounting brackets?
@_CalumAdams put it under load, Prime95 should do it and see how hot it gets. if it goes above 65 then yeah something is very wrong.

@_CalumAdams you should be able to comfortably lift up and motherboard by grabbing the heatsink. Ofc when unscrewed and nothing else on.
