If the class next door was rowdy, I’d agree on a hand-signal with my class that meant they should break into “spontaneous” laughing, cheering, cat-calls, etc. Then I’d throw the hand sign a few times per day. Neighboring instructors would always ask me for my “secret”.

This is a fantastic example of software supply chain attacks in open source. Most of us have never reviewed the code being installed when we run "pip install ..." and have no idea what other dependencies it might bring with it (even if unintentionally)

Folks, one of my middle names is Nóirín (Noreen) after the landlady who took pity on my father in Hull, UK where he was an international student in 1961-2. Her name was Noreen Clarkson. I would love to find her or her descendants if anyone can help while my Dad is alive.
