THIS. IS. HUGE. When we first released WSL, it was shipped as an OS component & could only deliver new features in new versions of Windows. Now, @craigaloewen & the team have enabled WSL to be installed and updated via the Store, enabling WSL to evolve much faster. EPIC stuff!
A preview of WSL inside of the Microsoft Store is now available for Windows 11 machines! Check out the blog post below for all the details on what that means:
