Companies would save a lot with universal health care - even the added taxes would be less than they'd save on massive, rising health care premiums.
Why do they oppose it?
It's all about control.
Decouple health care from work and suddenly anyone can quit their lousy job.

“Who could have forseen all this?” If only there were 300 years of history of world powers getting involved in Afghanistan. If only the USA had a track record of abandoning local allies since the 1960’s. I am ashamed for us and it is remarkable that we find allies anywhere.
