Companies would save a lot with universal health care - even the added taxes would be less than they'd save on massive, rising health care premiums. Why do they oppose it? It's all about control. Decouple health care from work and suddenly anyone can quit their lousy job.

🥡 Finally, if you encounter a COVID-19 claim online ask yourself three questions to help evaluate its authenticity. 1. Is the claim vague or specific? 2. Does the author provide a source? 3. Is the author a reliable communicator of COVID-19 information?

There's a lot of bad stuff happening in the world and it's easy to feel fearful of things that are out of your control. Focus on things you can control in your life, like choosing to help others. Nobody is going to make it through these times on their own.

“Who could have forseen all this?” If only there were 300 years of history of world powers getting involved in Afghanistan. If only the USA had a track record of abandoning local allies since the 1960’s. I am ashamed for us and it is remarkable that we find allies anywhere.

Please read this and really think before you re-post any idiot conspiracy theory or uninformed opinion about Covid.
Tonight I helplessly held the hand of and stroked the hair of a beautiful 14 year old girl as she exited this world. She was looking forward to starting high school and eventually becoming a veterinarian. It was so senseless! I truly believe she could have been saved if her

Our slides & white paper are now on the @BlackHatEvents website: blackhat.com/us-21/briefings… The videos from the 2 teams who presented on using eBPF for rootkit dev: - youtube.com/watch?v=5zixNDol… - youtube.com/watch?v=g6SKWT7s… If you work Linux #DFIR then you need to learn about eBPF!
It seems our talk is well timed! We will be presenting new @volatility plugins to analyze eBPF & the subsystems it uses, while there will be talks from separate teams at @BlackHatEvents & @defcon on using it for rootkit dev - blackhat.com/us-21/briefings… - defcon.org/html/defcon-29/dc…

As @aloria pointed out in her quote tweet, we get this for so many different topics. Can’t tell you how many people do this to me, on bounties & everything - & it’s not just publicly, it’s in DMs, emails, & what frustrates most are the friends irl who do this to me. #exhausted

Every time you speak up for yourself, someone says, "But that's not what I was trying to do." You can't explain to them that you spend every day defending your knowledge, your experience, and your qualifications. If you do explain, they think you're exaggerating or overreacting.
