@HPSupport Didn't help me. Yosemite doesn't even recognize my Officejet 6500 710n-z as a scanning device. Latest drivers installed, etc.

@hal_pomeranz worse for me. My canon all in one scanner driver caused me daily kernel panics.I killed the image capture process and all good
@hal_pomeranz examples like that are exactly why I keep a superduper! backup of my OS partition
