I was thinking more along the lines of a head to head competition. The teams play against each other to settle arguments

Science is collaboration. If there is a disagreement, work together cooperatively to understand faulty assumptions.

In the process the bystanders can learn by watching the techniques, methods, approaches, etc used by each team.
