Until then, MOOCs are a minefield. To the tech companies pushing MOOC, solve those problems first.

@randymarchany Maybe it's not the MOOC provider's responsibility to vet the students. Employers must still verify capabilities of new hires.

@hal_pomeranz No one except EDUs are worried about verification. Solve authentication problem then do MOOCs not the other way around.

@randymarchany I don't think you can. Suggest two tiers: course for credit requires (onerous) verification, anybody else can audit for NC.

@hal_pomeranz GIAC requires u to go to testing centers for exams. Do that for MOOCs? if so, buy stock in testing centers....:-)
