Hotel room nightlights that you cannot disable without destroying them are annoying. I like it *dark* where I sleep.

@hal_pomeranz +1 to this. I find that towels go a long way, though. Turns out Douglas Adams had it right.
@hal_pomeranz #agreed - they should all have clappers installed as well so once in bed - i can clap and turn them off
