Y'all this is one of the stranger evenings I've had in a while. I locked myself out of my hotel room. Went to lobby. Me: I locked myself out of my room. Can you please make a key? Desk person: Sure thing Mr. Douglas. Can you please verify your room number? 1

I HADN'T TOLD THEM WHO I WAS!! M: umm... you know me? DP: Are... you not Mr Douglas? M: yes... um, but how do you know me? DP: No worries, let's get your key sir. 2

That's the thing... they were super nice and pleasant about the whole thing. I'm really confused about what happened here. :-/
