Making fresh pesto for the 1st time in ages. I’m obviously going to use way more garlic than this recipe calls for, but what else should I do differently? I’m using pine nuts for this since I bought a huge bag, so aside from nut substitutions, what else? garlicandzest.com/pesto-pine…

To me the amount of basil is out of whack to the rest of the ingredients. I’d use half that much basil or even less.

For a fun time, use a good arugula as a substitute.

1 good head of garlic (at least) and make sure you crush/press it.
