Got one of the rare "I wanna blackmail you" emails with some bits-and-bobs from an old data breach. What they forget is... 1) I'm not male, 2) I don't look at porn (asexual FTW), and 3) don't use RDP for anything (srsly, man)... you can always tell shoddy work.

Ah, and the message in the source vs. what gets displayed is cute. I'm bummed - they think I only have 8 (eight) friends as well... man, I must be SUPER lonely and unpopular.

Super-awkward was when a relative of mine called me in a panic about a similar email. It apparently described their behavior accurately enough that they were worried about being outed. These were things I really didn't need to know about that person.

There's a video game that I know my ex has modified for… purposes. Anytime I see him start up the game in Steam, I'm like, 😐 didn't want to know.
