About 5000 days ago, I made this personal Twitter account. I’ve tweeted an average of 10 tweets/ day since then, for a total of ~50,000 tweets. I tend not to delete tweets, so this is a weird little slice of thoughts spanning the past ~14 years. Some facts about this span of time

Barack Obama had not yet been elected President when I started this account. Both my parents were alive. I had no kids. Only one divorce but 2 marriages. My hair had only ever had a few blue or red streaks in it. I did not yet know how underleveled & underpaid I was at Microsoft.

Since then, I’ve used this Twitter account to announce Microsoft’s 1st bug bounties from a hotel room in Bangkok at midnight in June 2013, & the Pentagon’s Hack The Pentagon in April 2016 along side the Secretary of Defense. But mostly, the ~10 tweets/day were my random thoughts.

I’ll eventually retire this account & the window into my thoughts, or it will change to be much more curated, guarded, & formal. But for now, in this meaningless moment of having tweeted a round number of tweets & looking back, I thank you all for listening to my random real self
