I try not to get religious or even spiritual on social media. That said, I feel compelled to share about a "Christian" who reach out to me saying he was worried about my recently passed father in law. 1

Them: he wasn't wealthy, so that doesn't show god's favor... also he got hit by this so called plague so IDK... IDK. Me: you don't know what exactly? Are you trying to pass judgement on Carl? Them: Oh no! I just... well.. maybe. Me: you read the bible? You know it? 2

Them: read it all the time. Me: you know it chapter and verse? them: well no. me: here's some reading that you need to ponder. Matthew 5:4, Matthew 5:11 now get out before I go John 2:15 on your ass. 3

Folks... when someone shows you for who they are... BELIEVE them. It's OK to cut toxic people out of your life. Doubly so when they try to do it in a way that makes you feel bad. Be kind to one another, but most importantly... be kind to yourself. 4/fin
