PNW Diaries - Day 4: Holy heck, people are so nice here... I am not sure my cold East Coaster heart can be steeled against the onslaught of folks being generally this friendly. Somebody at @PetSmart even wished my cats a nice day.

Oh wow, this reminds me of moving to Eugene. It’s not just social pleasantries—people really want to know how you’re doing. I thought they were trying to steal my soul at first.
