Don鈥檛 be afraid to try things. You can always switch lanes if it doesn鈥檛 work out. You are going to be many things in your career. Nothing is final.

As someone stuck in security governance and feeling increasingly pigeonholed into 2 yrs into my career, your comment gives me much needed comfort

Blast out of that gig as soon as you can. Life鈥檚 too short to work a job you feel stuck in.

Trying to hold out until I change countries for a Master in Oct., but increasingly I've been thinking maybe it'd be just better if I leave and work on my Home Lab and malware analysis in the interim
