Anyone have a recommendation for Mac data recovery for Luke?

@iamevltwin Random question… I have an external HD in HFS+. I had an inode problem and is unreadable. fsck and TestDrive have failed. Is there a decent paid prog you would recommend? Data Rescue and iBoySoft both found files, but are $ and sort of sketchy.

Depending on the type of files, the free Photorec carver may work just fine

Thanks! I was able to start recovering some of the files I was looking for with PhotoRec. It of course didn't recover the filenames or dates. I should have added that I have a partial backup, so I would have had to do a lot of manual curation to merge it together.

PhotoRec and TestDisk are great tools though!!
