Was about to get on a call talking about updates. My computer popped up and said "updates ready to apply" My reaction when I knew I had to apply the updates before the call. :-( Was a nail biter... almost had to do meeting on tablet due to lots of reboots!

snapd is a similar betrayal. It's a feature that you can't choose when to update snaps, apparently. pop.system76.com/ got my business after seeing that behavior from Canonical. But yeah, Windows is still a worse and more common DoS :\

I still have yet to "get" snapd. Yes, they "work" but lordy... More bloat, certainly more fragile, and yes... they just YOLO update or reconfig.
