I have been an elite @Marriott member for many years and I applaud them for being among the first corporations to pledge to not contribute to seditionist congresspeople who supported this attempted coup

UPDATE: @Citibank says it will “not support candidates who do not respect the rule of law” and will “pause contributions" to the GOP members who objected. It is the fourth major corporation to take such a step. popular.info/p/three-major-c…

Not understanding how people think this was a coup. Seriously. Was it stupid and nonproductive? Yes. There's a lot of division and frustration. Calling this a coup is infantile and simplistic.
