Teachers, parents, and students used to joke about everybody getting sick when schools re-open. Well now getting sick can kill you and those you love. Why are we in such a hurry to put kids and teachers back into the school petri dish?

I've already warned my 11 year old that if there isn't a dramatic change he'll be homeschooled next year. He's okay with it and it'll give me a chance to help him focus on coding and linux!

Thanksgiving until allergy season is when my kids spread the germs most. Even if by some miracle they won’t be spreading COVID-19, they’ll be spreading stuff that has the same symptoms.
