It starts with T-Mobile. They were making some changes to their network configurations today. Unfortunately, it went badly. The result has been for around the last 6 hours a series of cascading failures for their users, impacting both their voice and data networks. 2/X

I still want to know exactly they misconfigured though, because that’s a still one hell of a single point of failure.

Man but seriously... doing IR enough years you just get a *sense* for what feels like a real attack and what doesn’t. You’ll get there someday if you haven’t already. You just feel when an investigation is on track or doesn’t make sense.
