Welcome to my home state. Bear in mind these are only numbers of positive tests. We are still under-testing. Oh and Disney World will be re-opening soon. So we鈥檒l be bringing people into a high infection zone and then letting them return home.

A single coronavirus update snapshot. Florida. FL got a lot of praise for how it handled nursing home cases (very well). Florida pushed opening amid sneering from people who didn't understand its case spread. Now? Last 4 days: Most new cases of any 4-days in the pandemic.

I have some serious concerns for the next month or so for here (Orlando), especially as more travel/tourist attractions reopen.

We were just down on I-Drive this afternoon and it was still pretty much a ghost town. But it won鈥檛 be much longer. I share your pessimism.
